The 6th generation is coming to Pokémon GO and the first Pokémon for it are already known. We show you the list and tell you which monsters are worth it.
This was announced: Today, on November 18, Niantic dropped the bomb and announced Level 50, seasons, and the 6th generation.
In Gen 6, the Pokémon that you can expect in the first wave have already been named. To help you know which monsters these are, we categorize them here for you.
List of the first Pokémon from the Kalos region
When will Gen 6 come? Starting December 2, the 6th generation will appear in Pokémon GO. However, it will be a small wave first and not with all Pokémon from the Kalos region.
These monsters will appear first: Niantic has already released a list of the Pokémon that will appear first:
- Igamaro
- Igastarnish
- Brigaron
- Fynx
- Rutena
- Fennexis
- Froxy
- Amphizel
- Quajutsu
- Scoppel
- Grebbit
- Dartiri
- Dartignis
- Fiaro
- Leufeo
- Pyroleo
- Clavion (regional Pokémon from France)
So far, it is not known whether more monsters from this generation will appear on December 2.
This event starts with the release: Starting December 2 at 10:00 PM, an event focused on the 6th generation will start. The monsters from the Kalos region will appear more frequently. The event lasts until December 8.
A mysterious Pokémon from a raid egg: Niantic has only written briefly about this. A mysterious Pokémon will likely hatch soon from a level 1 raid egg. More information will follow shortly.
What are the highlights of the list? Among the new Pokémon are the starters from Gen 6, namely Igamaro, Fynx, and Froxy. Their evolutions will also be included.
Otherwise, it is mainly the Taubsi and Rattfratz of the 6th generation. Dartiri is a bird Pokémon and, similar to Taubsi, has two evolutions. Scoppel is somewhat reminiscent of Haspiror, as it is also a rabbit Pokémon.
Clavion is a regional Pokémon and will not be catchable in Germany. It is supposed to appear all over France.
Is a new top attacker coming? A first look at the stats of the Pokémon shows that there are no huge surprises here. The starter Pokémon are comparable to the other starters and the other monsters will also not be top attackers.
So, anyone hoping for really strong Pokémon will have to wait a little longer. The 6th generation definitely has such top attackers in store.
