Today, on July 17, the first day of the big GO Fest 2021 rises in Pokémon GO. Throughout the event, several Hyper Bonuses are to be unlocked. However, what is inside is still partially unknown.
What’s happening here? During the current GO Fest 2021, trainers around the world must master global challenges. These bring bonuses for the event itself, as well as the coveted Hyper Bonus.
This bonus ideally consists of three periods in the coming weeks, during which Pokémon GO will be filled with additional rewards. However, these goals must be achieved:
- 8 challenges for the first bonus (Time)
- 16 challenges for the second bonus (Space)
- 24 challenges for the third bonus (???)
The descriptions of the Hyper Bonuses have been relatively open so far. Trainers expect a return of Dialga and Palkia for the first bonuses, while the discussion about the ??? bonus is still open.
Now, the first rewards for the Hyper Bonus are known.
Hyper Bonus “Time” with Shiny Koknodon and Shilterus – Already achieved
This is coming with the Hyper Bonus Time: The first Hyper Bonus is expected to bring Pokémon from various eras. For example, from the past, present, and future. Accordingly, the first Pokémon are also now known.
Via Twitter, the Pokémon GO channel showed:
- Shiny Koknodon is set to appear in the game for the first time
- Shiny Schilterus as well
- Additionally, Porygon will spawn
Already done: The Time Bonus has already been unlocked by players from areas of the world where the GO Fest is already taking place. This was also announced via Twitter. Thus, the Hyper Bonus “Time” will go active in Pokémon GO starting July 23, 2021.
Hyper Bonus “Space” with Shiny Skaraborn – Achieved
This is coming in the Hyper Bonus Space: The second Hyper Bonus is expected to bend space and allow Pokémon from different locations to appear. Confirmed are:
- The debut of Shiny Skaraborn
- Kangaskhan
The third Pokémon in the graphic is currently being discussed in the Pokémon GO subreddit, as it is not easy to identify. The majority suspect due to the smoke clouds that it is Gastly (via reddit). We will keep you posted here.
Unlocked: The second Hyper Bonus has also been unlocked by the trainers.
Hyper Bonus with ??? still open – but achieved
What about the third part? The third Hyper Bonus has not been elaborated on so far. However, more information is expected to come during the GO Fest. We will keep you updated as soon as further hints emerge about what awaits in the Hyper Bonus.
Unlocked: The third Hyper Bonus has also been unlocked during GO Fest 2021. Thus, all three bonuses are active. However, Niantic still has not revealed what exactly the third bonus ??? will bring. Therefore, it still remains: wait and see.
