Dynamax in Pokémon GO is getting closer. Now you can already see the first evidence in the game.
What is new? If you update Pokémon GO to the new version 0.325.0-A-64, you can already find the emblems for the new Dynamax feature that has already been talked about a lot due to leaks.
Once you have the new version, click into the Pokémon collection. Now go to the search and click on “Show more.” The game will now show you plenty of filters that you can apply to your collection. There are now two new ones visible – and they display the Dynamax emblem.
Currently, they are still named “?” and “???”, but the emblems clearly show what it’s about:
What does this mean? This is at least confirmation that the Dynamax phenomenon is indeed being introduced in Pokémon GO. And since a filter has already been activated, it can be assumed that it shouldn’t take too long.
Fans are currently speculating about the upcoming new season in Pokémon GO – which starts in September. At least, unless this is a faulty activation of the filter.
But it is also clear: Currently, it is still unclear how exactly the feature will be implemented and when it will be released. We will keep you updated as always.
What is Dynamax in Pokémon actually?
The Dynamaxing defined the Pokémon games Sword and Shield. This phenomenon transformed Pokémon into gigantic versions of themselves.
These monsters had to be defeated in raids with other trainers. They were epic battles, which could definitely become long and challenging.
However, you could also use Dynamaxing yourself. Then you transformed your own Pokémon into a giant monster that could unleash powerful attacks on the opponent for three rounds.
In addition to the “normal” Dynamaxing, there is also the special form “Gigantamax.” This not only enlarged Pokémon, but also gave them a new appearance and a special Dyna Attack. However, this was only possible with certain Pokémon, such as the gigantic Charizard from Sword & Shield, which is also visible in the title image.
In Pokémon GO, Dynamax also seems to bring a form of new battles or raids, according to leaks. But this is still unclear. It remains to be seen whether further information will be revealed soon. By the way: In the history of the games, it was the giant, extraterrestrial Pokémon Endynalos that caused Pokémon to suddenly perform Dynamaxing. This Pokémon is also currently missing in Pokémon GO, as are some other powerful monsters.
