Pokémon GO: The Community Days of 2021 in Ranking – From unpopular to popular

We briefly asked you before the end of the year which Community Day you liked best in 2021 in Pokémon GO. Over 1,600 readers participated. We will show you which C-Days were your absolute losers and which one you crowned as your favorite.

What is it about? In Pokémon GO, a special event takes place every month: the Community Day. A special monster is always in the spotlight, so you can catch it more often on that day. The shiny odds are also slightly higher than on other days.

Of course, there were again 12 different Community Days last year. For this reason, we wanted to know from you in the past weeks, which C-Day you liked best in 2021. You naturally participated actively in our survey, so we do not want to withhold the results from you.

Here are your tops and flops of the Community Days 2021

In our survey from December 28, 2021, you had the opportunity to vote for all Community Days from 2021 to see which one you liked best. The following options were available:

  •  Community Day January with Machollo
  •  Community Day February with Roselia
  •  Community Day March with Dartiri
  •  Community Day April with Serpifeu
  •  Community Day May with Wablu
  •  Community Day June with Kaumalat
  •  Community Day July with Floink
  •  Community Day August with Evoli
  •  Community Day September with Ottaro
  •  Community Day October with Zwirrlicht
  •  Community Day November with Sheinux
  •  Community Day December with all C-Day monsters from 2020 and 2021

A total of 1,609 people participated in our survey as of January 25, 2022, and voted for their favorite Community Day. Below, we have summarized all the tops and flops in the ranking.

Rank 12: Floink

Pokémon-GO-Floink
Floink
  • Result: 0% (6 votes)

What kind of Pokémon is that? Floink is a Fire-type monster from the 5th generation and is one of the starter Pokémon in the Unova region. It can evolve into Flambirex through Ferkokel. Although Flambirex has solid attack power, there are better alternatives for use in raids.

Moreover, in the PvP league, Floink and its evolutions are rather uninteresting. This was likely the opinion of the participants in our survey, as they relegated Floink to the 12th and last place in our ranking with only 6 votes.

Rank 10: Serpifeu and Zwirrlicht

Serpifeu (left) and Zwirrlicht (right)
  • Result: 1% (11 votes)

What kind of Pokémon are these? The Grass-type Pokémon Serpifeu, just like Floink, comes from the 5th generation and takes the place of the Grass starter Pokémon there. It can evolve into Serpiroyal through Efoserp. Neither Serpifeu nor Efoserp are particularly strong, and Serpiroyal does not score high in attack either.

However, Serpiroyal is a suitable candidate for the Hyper League. Nonetheless, the votes for a better place were not enough, and Serpifeu only makes it to Rank 10, which it shares with the Ghost-type Pokémon Zwirrlicht.

Zwirrlicht is a monster from the 3rd generation, which can evolve into Zwirrfinst through Zwirrklop. However, the Ghost-type Pokémon are not particularly strong. Zwirrfinst can only score in defense. Its attack and defense stats are rather average. Thus, it is not suitable for use in raids and the GO battle league.

The Pokémon was obviously quite uninteresting during Community Day and, like Serpifeu, failed to convince trainers.

Rank 9: Wablu

Pokémon-GO-Wablu
Wablu
  • Result: 1% (13 votes)

What kind of Pokémon is that? Wablu is a Pokémon from the 3rd generation of the Normal and Flying types. It can evolve into Altaria using 400 Wablu candies. Both monsters have only solid defense and stamina values, making them rather unsuitable for use in raids.

However, Altaria can impress in the PvP battles of the Super League and is considered an excellent candidate there, according to PvPoke. Additionally, Altaria has a temporary Mega Evolution of the Dragon and Fairy type, which can also be useful in one battle or another.

Nevertheless, the Community Day with Wablu in May 2021 did not really impress you, so the monster only secures the 9th place in this ranking with just 13 votes.

Rank 8: Roselia

Pokémon-GO-Roselia
Roselia
  • Result: 1% (14 votes)

What kind of Pokémon is that? The Grass and Poison-type Pokémon Roselia also originates from the 3rd generation. It is the evolution of Knospi and can evolve into Roserade. Roselia is not particularly strong; however, Roserade can score properly in raids.

The monster has a strong attack, and its moves deal significant damage. Thus, it is one of the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO in both the Grass and Poison categories. Additionally, Roserade was able to learn two Event Moves, Kugelsaat and Meteorologe, during an evolution up to 2 hours after Community Day.

Although Roselia has a really strong evolution, it only made it to 8th place in our ranking.

Rank 7: Ottaro

Pokémon-GO-Ottaro
Ottarodar
  • Result: 1% (17 votes)

What kind of Pokémon is that? Another starter Pokémon from the Unova region is Ottaro. The Water-type monster can evolve into Admurai through Zwottronin. Similar to Serpifeu and Floink, Ottaro and its evolutions cannot convince with their values.

Admurai has strong stamina, but its attack value is rather solid, and its defense value is only average. There are far better candidates for use in raids and the PvP league.

This was also evident in our survey, as Ottaro received only 17 votes from you, securing just 7th place in our ranking, just ahead of Roselia.

Rank 6: Dartiri

Pokémon-GO-Dartiri
Dartiri
  • Result: 1% (22 votes)

What kind of Pokémon is that? Dartiri, a Normal and Flying-type Pokémon, comes from the 6th generation. It can evolve into Fiaro through Dartignis. The little bird isn’t particularly strong, and neither are its evolutions in raids.

However, it is a different story in the Hyper League of the PvP battles. There, Fiaro can score well and is one of the best candidates. The monster can also convince in the Super League.

Despite Fiaro being a really strong Pokémon in the GO battle league, the Community Day with Dartiri did not score well with you. Thus, the little monster only makes it to 6th place in our voting with just 22 votes.

Rank 5: Machollo

Pokémon-GO-Machollo
Machollo
  • Result: 5% (82 votes)

What kind of Pokémon is that? The Fighting-type Pokémon Machollo can evolve into Machomei through Maschok. The monster from the 1st generation may not have the best stats itself, but its final evolution, Machomei, has strong stamina and attack values.

This makes it one of the best fighting attackers in Pokémon GO. Machomei is also an excellent candidate in the GO battle league. For this reason, it is helpful to have one or two strong specimens in your Pokémon storage.

Despite its popularity among many trainers, it received only 82 votes in our survey for the best Community Day 2021, which is only enough for 5th place.

Rank 4: Sheinux

Pokémon-GO-Sheinux
Sheinux
  • Result: 5% (83 votes)

What kind of Pokémon is that? The Electric-type Pokémon Sheinux comes from the 4th generation and can evolve into Luxtra through Luxio. In the wild, you cannot encounter Sheinux outside of events, but you can occasionally find it in raids or eggs. Thanks to the Community Day in November, you could hope for a strong specimen and also farm appropriate candies.

Although Sheinux itself is not particularly strong, its final evolution can score especially well in attack with a strong Electric move. This makes it one of the best Electric attackers in the game. However, it is less interesting in the GO battle league.

Furthermore, the Community Day provided you with bonuses such as triple candies when sending Pokémon, 3 free raid passes, and reduced stardust costs for trades. With just one vote more than Machollo, you placed Sheinux in your 4th place for the best C-Days 2021.

Rank 3: Evoli

Pokémon-GO-Evoli
Evoli
  • Result: 11% (175 votes)

What kind of Pokémon is that? Evoli is a Normal-type Pokémon. It comes from the 1st generation and has a total of 8 different evolutions. It can evolve into Aquana, Blitza, Flamara, Psiana, Nachtara, Folipurba, Glaziola, and Feelinara.

Unlike most other Community Days, the event with Evoli spanned two days, during which each of its evolutions could learn a special event move.

The stats of Evoli are not particularly strong, but some of its evolutions can score big. Psiana, Folipurba, Glaziola, and Feelinara stand out with high attack values and are among the stronger attackers in Pokémon GO.

Moreover, the evolutions of Evoli are suitable for the GO battle league. Nachtara can particularly impress in the Super and Hyper leagues. Feelinara is an excellent candidate in the Hyper and Master leagues.

That the Community Day with Evoli was worth it for some of you is evident from our survey. With more than double the votes of Sheinux, you placed Evoli at Rank 3 in our voting.

Which possibilities exist to evolve Evoli and which tricks you can use have been summarized in our accompanying guide:

Rank 2: C-Day with all monsters from 2020 and 2021

  • Result: 13% (204 votes)

What kind of Community Day is that? In December 2021, a very special two-day event took place, as unlike all other C-Days, this one featured a total of 25 Pokémon. All of them were available to be caught during Community Days in 2020 and 2021.

During this event, you could encounter Machollo, Roselia, Dartiri, Serpifeu, Wablu, Kaumalat, Floink, Evoli, Ottaro, Zwirrlicht, and Sheinux in the wild. Furthermore, in eggs and raids on the two days, you could find Glumanda, Hornliu, Abra, Nebulak, Rihorn, Karpador, Porygon, Elekid, Elektek, Magby, Magmar, Samurzel, Plinfa, and Knospi.

This Community Day thus primarily offered the opportunity to secure the monsters from the last two years whose events were missed. Additionally, it provided the chance to secure a strong specimen or gather candies.

For instance, Elektek, Plinfa, Karpador, and Rihorn feature strong evolutions that are among the best attackers in Pokémon GO. Moreover, during this weekend, you could enjoy various bonuses, such as double XP and Stardust, reduced egg hatch distance, or a limited-time research task.

This clearly convinced some trainers, as the Community Day in December received 204 votes from you. Thus, this event secures the 2nd place in our ranking.

Rank 1: Kaumalat

Pokémon-GO-Kaumalat
Kaumalat
  • Result: 60% (971 votes)

What kind of Pokémon is that? The Dragon and Ground-type Pokémon Kaumalat comes from the 4th generation. It can evolve into Knakrack through Knarksel. Although Kaumalat can generally be found in the wild, it is one of the rarer Pokémon in the game.

Furthermore, Knakrack can impress with strong attack and good stamina, making it one of the best attackers in the game. Knakrack can also shine in the Master League.

For this reason, the Community Day in June provided some trainers the opportunity to finally secure a strong specimen and gather candies. Thus, it is not surprising that the Community Day in June with Kaumalat received by far the most votes and thus emerges as your winner from our survey.

For MeinMMO reader erzi222, this day was a very special highlight. As he told us in the comments, he particularly enjoyed that many people were out and about on this Community Day (via MeinMMO). Moreover, from his perspective, it was a great opportunity to get the Dragon Medal to platinum.

What do you think about the results of our Community Day survey? Did you expect Kaumalat to take first place? Or were you hoping for a different Pokémon? Feel free to share your thoughts with us in the comments here on MeinMMO.

The next C-Day is already on the horizon. We took a look at what to expect for the Community Day with Hoppspross in February.
