When is the Community Day? The Community Day with Quapsel starts on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM local time and runs until 5:00 PM.

Quapsel brings strong option for battle league, Community Day provides bonuses
What makes Quapsel interesting? The small tadpole Pokémon initially does not look particularly impressive, and its evolutions do not play a major role as attackers in Pokémon GO raids.
However, the evolution Quappo can impress in another area, namely the PvP battle league. And the Community Day now brings a really strong upgrade for Quapsel’s evolutions.
- Quappo learns the move “Counter” when you evolve it from Quaputzi during the event or up to 5 hours thereafter.
- And the alternate evolution, Quaxo, learns “Ice Beam” when you evolve it from Quaputzi during the same period.
In the subreddit “TheSilphRoad” for Pokémon GO, “Counter” for Quappo is currently causing excitement. This would elevate it from a decent candidate in the battle league to an absolute meta pick, explains a user (via Reddit). The PvP expert JRE47 also emphasizes based on PvPoke simulations that Quappo will be really powerful in the league (via Reddit).
So anyone who enjoys being in the battle league should take advantage of this. Additionally, some users emphasize that they have had very good experiences with Quappo in battles against Team Rocket (via Reddit).
