In Pokémon GO, glitches can cause Pokémon in the game to appear differently than intended. A new screenshot from the community shows that it can look really good. The Glitch Wobbuffet is receiving a lot of praise.
What kind of Wobbuffet is that? In the reddit community, a player showed a screenshot of their glitched Wobbuffet. It looks completely different on the outside than one would typically expect.
In the comments, trainers write how cool it looks and that this Pokémon should definitely be officially catchable.
The Glitch Wobbuffet is well received by players
What does it look like? In the Pokémon GO community on reddit, DickieDarkside posted two pictures of a Wobbuffet. Due to a bug in the game, it shows color changes on its wings, face, and all over its body. It has a purple pattern on its belly that can also be found on its beak in its purple colors.
Blue, angular spots appear around the eyes of the otherwise white Pokémon. It looks like it is wearing a toned-down superhero mask.

What the community is saying: Although it is a bug in the game, the comments about it are quite positive. Trainers write:

Not an isolated case: Such glitches happen more often in Pokémon GO. Colorful creations of Pokémon or other content that should actually look quite different occur.

For the special Wobbuffet and also Rainbow Pikachu, trainers asked on reddit whether they would still remain in their special color in the collection after being caught.
Usually, however, the Pokémon in the collection look ‘normal’ again and appear like any other Pokémon of their species.
