What event is it about? Under the name “Test Your Nerves,” a large Steel Event starts on Friday in Pokémon GO. Joining in are plenty of Steel Pokémon, which you can encounter in the wild and in raids. And new Pokémon will also debut in the game on this occasion. The event is additionally rounded off with various bonuses.

When does the Steel Event start? The Steel Event “Test Your Nerves” starts on September 16, 2022, at 10:00 AM local time and runs until September 21, 2022, at 8:00 PM local time.
All new Pokémon for the Steel Event
As part of the Steel Event, four new monsters will debut in Pokémon GO: Kaguron, Katagami, Togedemaru, and Mega-Stolloss. Below we briefly introduce you to the new monsters.
Kaguron: Kaguron is an Ultra Beast of the Steel and Flying types. It originates from the 7th generation of games and has no pre-evolutions or further developments. You can recognize Kaguron by a kind of silvery gray metal armor that surrounds its otherwise thin white body.
The Pokémon will be available in the level 5 raids as of September 13, 2022, unlike the other spawns of the event, but only in the Southern Hemisphere. So if you want to secure this monster, you will need to be invited by your friends to a corresponding raid abroad.

Katagami: While you can only find Kaguron in the coming days in the Southern Hemisphere, Katagami will take over the level 5 raids in the Northern Hemisphere during this time. The Ultra Beast is also from the 7th generation of games and can be classified under the types Grass and Steel. Like Kaguron, it has no pre-evolutions or further developments.
You can recognize the “Sword Art Pokémon” by its white, paper-thin body, resembling origami, as well as its yellow and orange embellishments.

Togedemaru: Another new Pokémon that you can catch for the first time at the Steel Event is Togedemaru. The Electric and Steel Pokémon, also referred to as “Rolypoly Pokémon,” also originates from the 7th generation of games.
Its cute, white-gray, round body is decorated with brown and yellow spikes that it can use for defense. This Pokémon also does not have any pre-evolutions or further developments. You can find it throughout the event in the wild, in raids, and in research task rewards.
Mega-Stolloss: A Pokémon that many players have been eagerly waiting for is Mega-Stolloss. The Steel Pokémon can finally be found in Mega Raids with the start of the Steel Event. The Mega Evolution can be temporarily activated from the Steel- and Rock-type Pokémon Stolloss using the corresponding Mega Energy.
