There are currently 27 regional Pokémon in Pokémon GO to catch, hiding all around the world. But which places are best suited to catch many at once?
Admittedly, traveling to another country just for regional Pokémon is quite intense, but it can have a positive connotation if you can catch various new Pokémon in your vacation destination.
We will show you here 3 places that bring many new Pokémon and could certainly complete your PokéDex.
3 Places with particularly many regional Pokémon
Important: We have looked at the regional Pokémon that you currently cannot catch in Germany. However, they may already be available through events or be found here by trading regions.
Currently, in Germany, you can catch Pantimos, Volbeat, Sengo, Lunastein, the eastern Schalellos (blue), Vesprit, Grillmak, and Fermicula. These will not be taken into account here. You can find the list of all regional Pokémon here:
Northern Australia
Which Pokémon can be caught here? 5 regional Pokémon that are not available in Germany can be caught here. These include:
- Kangaskhan
- Corasonn
- Plushie
- Selfe
- Vegimak
If you want to snag all regional Pokémon here, you must go to the north of Australia, because only here can you catch Corasonn. All other Pokémon can be found across Australia.
Canary Islands
Which Pokémon can be caught here? Although the Canary Islands are still part of Europe, they have completely different regional Pokémon. There are 7 new regional Pokémon:
- Corasonn
- Tropius
- Illumise
- Sonnfel
- Vipitis
- Western Schalellos (pink)
- Furnifraß
The Canaries are a popular travel destination for tourists, and it’s also worth it for Pokémon GO. Niantic counts the island group as part of Africa, which is why Tropius can be found here. Additionally, the islands are located in the western hemisphere, which is why you can find the red Schalellos and Furnifraß here.
State of Florida
Which Pokémon can be caught here? All places are overshadowed by the US state. Here, new regional Pokémon abound, allowing you to catch up to 11 of them. These include:
- Tauros
- Corasonn
- Scaraborn
- Illumise
- Vipitis
- Sonnfel
- Venuflibis
- Western Schalellos (pink)
- Tobutz
- Sodamak
- Furnifraß
In Florida, many things come together. In the northern part of the state, you can still find Tauros, while south of Orlando, Scaraborn appears. Additionally, there is also the very small area for Venuflibis. Those who vacation here can snag a lot of Dex entries.
