Today, on February 20th, the Stardust Hour starts again in Pokémon GO. This time, everything revolves around Stardust again.
What is the Stardust Hour? This event offers a special bonus for exactly one hour that you can take advantage of. It is the counterpart to the Spotlight Hour, which occurs every Tuesday.
What happens today? This time, there is again double Stardust when catching Pokémon. This bonus was already available during the first Stardust Hour.
Is the double Stardust worth it?
When does the event run? It starts today at 6 PM local time. You can then take advantage of the double Stardust for one hour.
How worthwhile is the event? Double Stardust is always good. However, one must consider that the event only lasts for one hour, and you cannot expect to collect a huge amount of Stardust.
Stardust is still the most important resource in the game, as it allows you to power up your Pokémon. Therefore, if you have nothing else to do at that time, you should take advantage of the Stardust Hour again.
You can never have enough Stardust, as a team is never fully complete, and you must always invest Stardust, whether for new Pokémon or for a monster with good IV.
What you should save for: This Saturday is Community Day in Pokémon GO. There will be triple Stardust. So if you only have a few Star Pieces, it is better to focus on Community Day. The Stardust boosters will be much more worthwhile there.
If you have enough Star Pieces, you should definitely use them at both events. That way, you can secure triple Stardust today.
How does the bonus look? Trainers are a bit confused that in the 3rd week of the Stardust bonus event, the same bonus is offered as in the 1st week. So there isn’t much variety.
Other trainers explain this by saying that last week’s bonus, the double Raid XP, was not well received at all. Niantic is therefore trying to offer a bonus that does not invite criticism, and that is obviously more Stardust.
