Pokémon GO has announced the grand finale for the GO Fest. Something big is going to happen – and only one special Pokémon seems to be in question.
When is the GO Fest finale? The GO Fest finale will take place on August 23 and 24, 2025. The team behind Pokémon GO announced this with the help of a teaser.
What does the teaser show? The focus is on Zacian and Zamazenta in their new royal forms. The two Pokémon are running towards a light that’s breaking through a cloud in the darkened sky.
The title of the teaser mentions that one should prepare for something big.
Of course, everything is quite open-ended, but looking at the teaser overall, it can only mean one thing: Everything points to the debut of Endynalos.

What kind of Pokémon is Endynalos?
This legendary Pokémon is a Poison-Dragon from space. It is the counterpart to Zamazenta and Zacian.
In Pokémon Shield and Sword, it is told how Endynalos once crashed to Earth in a meteor and tried to absorb the energy of the Galar region. This caused a gigantic dark storm that went down in history as “Dark Night” and caused Pokémon to dynamax everywhere and create chaos. Possibly a fitting end for the current Pokémon GO season “Lovely Days”.
Endynalos then lost in a legendary battle against Zacian and Zamazenta and has not been seen for thousands of years, until the story of Shield and Sword begins and a new battle ignites.
The special thing about Endynalos: This Pokémon has a special Dynamax form, the “Unendynamax” form. This Pokémon is among the absolute most powerful Pokémon in the series. Unendynamax-Endynalos has the highest total stats of all Pokémon, surpassing rivals like Mega-Mewtwo, Mega-Rayquaza or the Proto-Pokémon.
The problem with Endynalos: So far, it has not been possible to catch Unendynamax-Endynalos in any game. The normal variant can be obtained – but the overpowered Dynamax version has so far been unreachable. It seems unlikely that Pokémon GO will change that. But: Let’s wait and see.
Because so far, it is not yet 100 % clear that the teaser is about Unendynamax-Endynalos. Who knows, maybe there is just a new version of Jigglypuff!
