In Pokémon GO you can now get 7 new Pokémon. We will show you how to obtain them and how strong the new monsters are in the game.
This is what happened: There was a major overhaul of the eggs! Red Curiosity Eggs are now available and can be hatched after 12 kilometers.
In these eggs, there are some surprises: 3 new Pokémon will hatch from the eggs and bring along 4 evolutions.
Gladiantri, Skallyk and Ganovil – The new Pokémon
Gladiantri and Caesurio: The Pokémon Gladiantri can be obtained from the Curiosity Eggs. Caesurio can only be obtained through evolution.
Caesurio isn’t bad at all. Let’s take a look at the stats:
- Attack: 232
- Defense: 176
- HP: 163
- Max CP: 2844
The attack value is solid, and thus Caesurio has quite a bit of CP even at max level. Compared to other Dark attackers, such as Darkrai or Snibunna, it performs significantly worse.
So it is merely a solid alternative. We do not have a new top attacker here.
Skallyk and Grypheldis: Skallyk is found in the Curiosity Eggs and cannot be obtained in any other way. Grypheldis can only be acquired through evolution.
Here, too, let’s look at the stats:
- Attack: 129
- Defense: 205
- HP: 242
- Max CP: 2138
For raids and arena battles, Grypheldis is not usable. It simply has too low an attack value and too little CP.
However, for the PvP league, it’s different. It has significantly better stats and is a solid choice in the Great and Ultra Leagues. But even here, one must consider that there are still better alternatives. So we do not have a new top monster here either.
Ganovil, Rokkaiman and Rabigator: Ganovil can be found in the Curiosity Eggs, but otherwise, it is not obtainable in any way. You must evolve it to Rokkaiman and finally to Rabigator.
First, we also take a look at the stats here:
- Attack: 229
- Defense: 158
- HP: 216
- Max CP: 3046
This is probably the best Pokémon of the 3 new monsters. It is a solid Dark attacker that can also take some damage. While it is also not a new top attacker, it can improve your team in breadth.
Are the Curiosity Eggs worth it? The 3 new Pokémon found in the Curiosity Eggs are certainly not top attackers. They are mainly attractive for the PokéDex. You should try to hatch them a few times to carry out the evolution.
Those who do not have a close bond with one of the monsters can ignore them afterwards.
