Pokémon GO gives you a catch bonus for legendary monsters
What bonus was found? As Reddit user Amiibofan101 reports in his post, trainers can look forward to a special catch bonus for legendary Pokémon during the GO Fest. He shows in a picture that after winning a Proto-Groudon raid, he received a yellow catch circle to catch the legendary Pokémon.
What does the circle mean? The catch circle should give you an indication of how hard a Pokémon is to catch. After a raid against a legendary monster, it is usually dark red, which is why you should use golden Razz Berries for catching. This way, the Pokémon stay better in the ball. In Amiibofan101’s case, that doesn’t seem to be necessary.
While trainers struggled to secure Kyogre and Groudon after the Hoenn Tour because they often just wouldn’t stay in the ball, Niantic seems to make it easier for you this time and has adjusted the catch rate. Therefore, you can catch both Pokémon more easily during the event period. So it’s a good opportunity to secure an example.
Trainers rejoice over bonus, hope for Rayquaza
Trainers use Razz Berries for catching: The adjustment of the catch rate for the two legendary Pokémon has caused enthusiasm on social networks.
