What kind of event is this? In Pokémon GO, a Spotlight Hour starts every Tuesday evening. For 60 minutes, a Pokémon along with a bonus is in focus of the game. Which Pokémon and bonus will be activated is determined by Niantic at the beginning of each month.
Today you will encounter Rhyhorn during the Spotlight Hour and receive extra candy. We provide an overview of everything about the event.
Spotlight Hour on July 18th – Start, Bonuses, Shiny
When does it start? As you already know from the Spotlight Hours, it will also start today at 6:00 PM. The event is active for one hour and ends at 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are there? During the 60 minutes, you will encounter Rhyhorn almost everywhere in the wild. To increase your encounters with the Pokémon, you can additionally activate incense.
Additionally, you will receive double candy as a bonus for catching Pokémon. This applies not only to catches of Rhyhorn but to all Pokémon you catch between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

With the moves Rock Slide and Stone Edge, it then becomes one of the best Rock attackers.
