What kind of monster is it? Pokémon GO regularly changes its Raid Bosses. Tomorrow, on October 12, 2021, it’s time again, and the Bug Pokémon Genesect will have to leave the Level 5 Raids. Giratina in its Altered Form will take its place.
When is Giratina (Altered Form) in the Raids? The legendary Pokémon will appear in Level 5 Raids on October 12, 2021, at 10:00 AM local time. It will stay until October 22, 2021, at 10:00 AM local time, before being replaced by Darkrai.

What kind of Pokémon is this? Giratina is one of the legendary Pokémon of the Ghost and Dragon types. It originates from the 4th generation. The legendary monster also has two different forms: the Altered Form and the Origin Form.
However, starting tomorrow, you will only find its Altered Form in the Raids. Due to its type, Giratina has weaknesses against attacks from the Dark, Ghost, Ice, Dragon, and Fairy types. Therefore, you should pay attention to these weaknesses when selecting your team.
Is there a Shiny version of Giratina? Yes, you can encounter a shiny version of Giratina with some luck. You can recognize it by its yellow body, the white bones on its neck, head, and legs, and the blue accents on its neck and wings.
What attacks does the monster have? Giratina (Altered Form) can only choose from a selection of two Fast Attacks. Even for Charged Attacks, the selection is limited to three different moves. These are the attacks that Giratina can learn:

However, in the Raids, you should rather use the Origin Form of Giratina. This is slightly stronger in Attack than the Altered Form and ranks among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
