In Pokémon GO on December 23, 2021, the second part of the big Christmas event starts. This introduces the new Pokémon Arktip along with its evolution Arktilas into the game. We show you all the bonuses and Shinies of the holiday event.
What happens during the event? Niantic divided the big Christmas event in Pokémon GO 2021 into two different events. The second event starts on Thursday, December 23, for you.
- For the first time, you will find Arktip and Arktilas in the game
- You will receive rewards for spinning PokéStops
- Further Limited Research awaits you with Galarian Pantimos
- A mini-event will take place within the event
- And you will get a Collector Challenge
Additionally, as always, there will be altered spawns in the wild, different raid bosses, special content in the 7 km eggs, and Pokémon encounters in specific field research tasks. In this overview, we show you all the bonuses from the second part of the Christmas event.
Pokémon GO: Holidays Part 2 – All Bonuses, Pokémon, Bosses, and Shinies
When does Part 2 run? From Thursday, December 23, at 10:00 AM to Friday, December 31, at 8:00 PM (local time) the event is active.
Important Tip: As a bonus for the event, you will receive a Incubator for the first spin of the day at a PokéStop each day. So wait until Thursday for the event to start before you spin your first PokéStop. If you spin before 10:00 AM, you won’t receive an Incubator on Thursday. Update from December 23: Trainers report that you can also spin the first stop before 10:00 AM and then receive an Incubator at the start of the event. Niantic has apparently improved this after the last events.
Get Galarian Pantimos: In the second part of the Christmas event you will receive new, limited research tasks. They revolve around friendships and catching Pokémon. You will be rewarded with Galarian Pantimos. This is a major incentive for many trainers, as Galarian Pantimos was previously only available for purchase in Pokémon GO.
