In Pokémon GO today on Sunday the event “Ultra Beasts Arrival: Worldwide” is taking place. This brings some exciting raids to you. We show you all the details here, including start times and contents as well as counter guides to the bosses.
What kind of event is this? The Ultra Beasts Arrival: Worldwide revolves around the eponymous Ultra Beasts, which will reappear for a few hours. The event kicks off on Saturday with local events in Los Angeles and London. On Sunday, the event will then run for players around the world.

Ultra Beasts Event – Start, Bonuses, Research, Group Bonuses
When is the start and end? The event starts today, on November 27, at 11:00 AM. It will then be active for several hours and ends at 5:00 PM.

What bonuses are there? During the event, the following bonuses will be active for you:
- 25% more XP for winning raids against Ultra Beasts
- Increased chances for XL candy when you participate in onsite raids
- Up to five free raid passes from gyms – This counts during the event and up to 2 hours afterwards
- If trainers have invited 50,000 trainers by the start of the event, there will be a free lure module for you (already unlocked)
- If trainers have invited 100,000 trainers by the start of the event, there will be Ultra Balls with which you can catch the Ultra Beasts
- Group bonuses: If you defeat an Ultra Beast, the following Pokémon will appear around the gym for a short time: Machoke, Scyther*, Magmar*, Stunky, Absol*, Chinchou*, Swablu, and Dedenne (Pokémon with a * can be encountered as Shiny)
Which bosses will appear? You can expect seven Ultra Beasts, which are partially divided among different regions. Here is the distribution:
- America: Nihilego, Buzzwole, Guzzlord
- Asia-Pacific: Nihilego, Volcanion, Guzzlord
- Europe: Nihilego, Dialga, Guzzlord
- Northern Hemisphere: Kartana
- Southern Hemisphere: Blacephalon

You have better chances of encountering the Ultra Beasts if you complete the Limited Research. It focuses on raid battles. If you complete the research tasks, you will receive encounters with each of the seven Ultra Beasts.
