What kind of event is it? In the coming days, it will be colorful in Pokémon GO, as the Color Festival showcases the diverse Pokémon world. You will encounter Pokémon in various colors.
Especially the new dance Pokémon Choreogel will play a central role with its different forms. We have summarized what spawns and bonuses you can expect, and which shinies you can look forward to.
When does the Color Festival take place? The Color Festival begins on March 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM local time and lasts for six full days. It concludes on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at 8:00 PM local time.
All spawns and shinies for the Color Festival with Choreogel
As you are used to from other events in Pokémon GO, the spawns will also thematically adapt for the Color Festival. In addition, a new Pokémon will celebrate its debut in Pokémon GO for this event: Choreogel.

The new Pokémon Choreogel
In the current season, the Alola season, everything revolves around the Pokémon of the 7th generation. The colorful Alola Pokémon Choreogel fittingly celebrates its debut in Pokémon GO during the Color Festival.
The dance bird has four different forms, which each belong to different types:
- Flamenco Style (Fire and Flying)
- Cheerleading Style (Electric and Flying)
- Hula Style (Psychic and Flying)
- Buyo Style (Ghost and Flying)
In Pokémon GO, all its forms will be available in the future, but they can only be caught in certain regions. In Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, you can only encounter Choreogel in the Flamenco Style. You can find the other forms in the following locations:
