In Pokémon GO, the solstice event starts on June 17 and brings raids featuring Regigigas. You can even catch Shiny Regigigas. We will show you the start time of the event and all bonuses and special features.
What kind of event is this? The solstice event takes place regularly in Pokémon GO. All the special features are split and appear partially in the Southern Hemisphere and partially in the Northern Hemisphere. For us in Germany, the bonuses in the Northern Hemisphere are important.
We summarize all the details of the event here on MeinMMO.

What happens in the Southern Hemisphere? If you play in the Southern Hemisphere or have friends who invite you from there to raids, the following information is important:

Buddy bonuses as accompaniment to the event
To make the event even more rewarding, the developers have come up with something for your buddy Pokémon.
Use these buddy bonuses: During the event, your buddy will bring you Poké Balls and other items more frequently. You should be well-equipped with items during the event. To do this, you only need to walk half as far with your buddy to earn hearts.
During the event, Sunkern and Sunflora will appear all over the world. After June 20, you will first encounter Sunkern only in the eastern hemisphere and Sunflora only in the western hemisphere.
In the coming weeks, some exciting events will start in the game. Niantic has already announced a Bidiza event that will start next week. You will be able to read about it soon here on MeinMMO.
We also have an overview of all events in June 2021 in Pokémon GO that we update regularly. This way, you will always be up to date and know what is happening next in the game and when you might need to keep dates free.
