What kind of event is this? Regularly, Pokémon GO, with exceptions, holds this event on Wednesday evenings. Legendary raids appear much more frequently in gyms for one hour.
This increases your chances of participating in many of these legendary raids and securing strong bosses for your collection.
Today, you will again find Zekrom in the gyms. It has been active in Pokémon GO for almost a week.
Zekrom Counters and All Information
When does it start? The event begins at the usual time at 6:00 PM. This is the local time of the region where you are currently playing. It will be active until 7:00 PM.
How to battle Zekrom? It is best to use attackers of the types Dragon, Fairy, Ground, or Ice.
Good counters are for example:
- Palkia with Dragon Tail and Draco Meteor
- Dialga with Fire Spin and Draco Meteor
- Rayquaza with Dragon Tail and Outrage
- Reshiram with Fire Spin and Draco Meteor
- or Garchomp with Dragon Tail and Outrage

How many players should you take? If you have very strong Pokémon and the best fighters in your team, you can defeat Zekrom with just 3 people. However, it is recommended to bring more trainers during the raid hour. This allows you to complete the raids faster and defeat more raids in the event hour.
Is it worth it? Zekrom has only been available in Pokémon GO for a short time. It is considered the best Electric Pokémon currently in the game. So, it is definitely worth having a few of these in your collection.
