What is happening today? Just before 6:00 PM, you will find legendary raid eggs at almost all gyms that will hatch at 6:00 PM. For one hour, you will then find legendary raids at these gyms. Today, they feature Thundurus in its Incarnate Form.

Use these attackers: Thundurus is of the types Electric and Flying. Accordingly, Water and Ice-type attacks are especially effective against Thundurus and inflict a lot of damage. Focus on Ice attackers because Thundurus has a double weakness against them.

How many trainers do you need? With strong counters and a high trainer level, you can defeat Thundurus in its Incarnate Form with just two players. However, if you aim for multiple battles during the raid hour, you should have at least 4 trainers in your group to win the battle as quickly as possible.
Remember that you can invite additional trainers using a Remote Raid Pass. This way, you can comply with current social distancing regulations and still have enough trainers present.
Who is it worth it for?
How strong is Thundurus: At this time, Thundurus is the strongest Ground attacker available in Pokémon GO. However, it’s often not that important to have a strong ground attacker in raids as other types are more significant in battle. Thundurus in its Incarnate Form definitely belongs in your collection, especially if you can catch one with good IVs.
Is there a Shiny Thundurus? The Incarnate form of Thundurus can be caught as Shiny, but the current Incarnate Form does not yet exist in shiny form. So those hoping for a Shiny will be disappointed today.
