What is a raid hour? This event normally takes place every Wednesday in Pokémon GO. During this time, legendary raids appear at almost all gyms in the game for an hour.
This week, however, there are 2 raid hours. The first hour will already take place today, on Monday, focusing on the Incarnate Form of Voltolos.

When does the raid hour start? It starts at 6:00 PM local time. A few minutes before that, black eggs will appear on the gyms, hatching right at 6:00 PM. By 7:00 PM, most legendary raids will be gone.
These are the best counters: Voltolos is of the Electric and Flying types. Therefore, monsters with Ice and Rock type moves are effective.

How many players are needed? Voltolos can already be defeated with two people, but you need top counters at least level 40 for that. We recommend a team of at least 5 trainers for the raid hour.

Is the raid hour with Voltolos worth it?
Should you participate in the raid hour? Absolutely! Voltolos can first be caught as a shiny since last week. The raid hour is now the best opportunity to complete many raids in a row and catch a shiny.
Otherwise, you could already start collecting candies for the Therian Form of Voltolos. This form will appear after the current Incarnate Form. Starting March 16, you will find the Therian Form in the raids.
The new form of Voltolos is significantly stronger, and you can already collect candies for it now. If you catch a Voltolos in the Therian Form with good IVs, you can invest the candies you have collected so far immediately.
