In Pokémon GO the new event A Cap Full of Sleep
is starting. It brings a new Pokémon and puts sleepy monsters in the spotlight. All info.
When does the event take place? A Cap Full of Sleep
starts on July 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time and runs until July 16, 2023 at 8:00 PM.
Thus, it runs for just one weekend. Accordingly, you should make use of the time to search for the sleepy monsters. More events in July from Pokémon GO can be found here.

New Pokémon appears: You can encounter the drowsy Pokémon Koalelu during the event. It is roaming in the wild but is considered a rarer spawn. So plan some time to search for the Pokémon.
Can Koalelu be shiny? No, the Pokémon will not be available as a shiny variant.
Which monsters appear? The event revolves around sleepy Pokémon, accordingly the spawns have also been adjusted. Here we summarize all event spawns, possible shinies are marked with an asterisk*.

Bonus for players with GO Plus+ brings Relaxo with sleep cap
The new Autocatcher GO Plus+ was introduced back in February, which among other things brings a Relaxo with a sleeping cap as a bonus.
This is now coming into use: Anyone who connects a GO Plus+ with Pokémon GO receives a special research task, during which one can obtain the Relaxo.
Trainers have already shared the special research on reddit. Part of this research will apparently involve tracking your own sleep with the GO Plus+. This, in turn, points to another game that can be used with the Autocatcher once it is released: Pokémon Sleep.
