What kind of event is it? On the occasion of the Hindu Diwali festival, which means Festival of Lights, there will also be a Light Festival in Pokémon GO. This event focuses on light, as its name suggests.
For this reason, you will encounter Electric and Fire Pokémon more frequently. Of course, this event holds a lot of Pokémon and bonuses for you once again.
When does the Light Festival start? The event starts on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 10:00 AM local time and lasts until Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 8:00 PM local time. Starting from November 9, 2021, it will also be supplemented by the part “With light comes shadow…”.
In this part, Team GO Rocket will play a role in the event. However, it is not yet known how long Team GO Rocket will be causing trouble. As soon as there are more details, we will add them to this article.

Just in time for the Light Festival, Pokémon GO will again change the spawns. You will then encounter Electric and Fire Pokémon more often. Dedenne – The new Pokémon for the Light Festival
Appropriate for the Light Festival, the Electric and Fairy Pokémon Dedenne will be available for the first time in Pokémon GO. This mouse-like monster comes from the Kalos region. With its orange-yellow body and long tail, its antenna-like whiskers are particularly eye-catching. For this reason, it is also referred to as the Antenna Pokémon.

What does the event part “With light comes shadow…” bring?
Where there is light, there is shadow. For this reason, Team GO Rocket must not be missed at the Light Festival. Starting November 9, they will again cause trouble. However, Niantic has not yet disclosed how long they will stay. And not much is known yet about Team GO Rocket’s plans.
So far, we know that in this context, Team GO Rocket members will spawn more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons. Additionally, there will be one of the most important Rocket events of the year, as during these days, you have the opportunity to make your Shadow Pokémon forget the charged move Frustration.
