In Pokémon GO, the Raid Day features Hisui-Sirfetch’d. We’ve listed everything important about it for you.
What kind of event is this? The Raid Day takes place on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 14:00 to 17:00. During this Raid Day, the Pokémon Hisui-Sirfetch’d will be the highlight, which will be available in Pokémon GO for the first time. Unlike the regular variant, which has the types Grass and Ghost, Hisui-Sirfetch’d has the types Grass and Fighting.
During the Raid Day, the Pokémon will be available as a raid boss in most gyms. It will appear as a 3-star raid, so you will need a maximum of 2 players with good counters to defeat the Pokémon.
When and how Hisui-Sirfetch’d will appear in the game after the Raid Day is not known. Currently, Hisui forms cannot be evolved. Additionally, you can also encounter Hisui-Sirfetch’d as a Shiny after defeating it. We have already looked into who benefits from Hisui-Sirfetch’d.
How to make the most of the Raid Day
What should I use against Hisui-Sirfetch’d? Due to the type combination of Grass and Fighting, Hisui-Sirfetch’d has a double weakness against Flying-type attacks. Therefore, you should primarily rely on Flying attackers if you want to defeat Hisui-Sirfetch’d.
Other types that exploit at least a single weakness of Hisui-Sirfetch’d are Poison, Fire, Psychic, Ice, and Fairy. So if you don’t have enough Flying attackers, you can also use these types. You can see which Pokémon are particularly effective in our list of the top attackers by type in Pokémon GO.
What bonuses are there during the event? While the Raid Day is happening, the following bonuses will be active in the game:
- increased appearance of Hisui-Sirfetch’d in raids
- increased chance of encountering Shiny Hisui-Sirfetch’d
- 5 additional raid passes at gyms
- the limit for remote raid passes will be raised to 20 (from Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 16:00 until Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 19:00)
You can only receive the raid passes at gyms gradually. Therefore, you can use them optimally by defeating Hisui-Sirfetch’d in a gym, spinning the gym disc to receive a new raid pass, and then moving to the next gym. You can repeat this process until you have used all 5 free raid passes.
What is included in the event ticket? For the Raid Day, you can also purchase an optional event ticket for €5.99. The following bonuses await you in the event ticket:
- 8 additional raid passes by spinning gym discs
- increased chance of special candy XL
- 50% more experience points from raids
- double stardust from raids
