In Pokémon GO the next Rocket takeover is coming. What to expect at the event, you can find out here.
What is a Rocket takeover? The name speaks for itself: Team GO Rocket is attacking. You can expect an increased number of thugs at stops and in balloons.
In addition, these events are usually accompanied by changes in the Pokémon of the Rocket bosses and also the main villain Giovanni. This is also the case this time.
When does the Rocket takeover run? It starts on June 21 at 00:00 local time and ends on June 25 at 23:59. This was announced by the German Pokémon GO channel via Facebook.
At the event, you can expect some content, with four of them standing out. We present them to you here.
What’s in the Rocket takeover
New Shiny: Highlight number 1 is the panda Pokémon Pam-Pam, which you can get for the first time ever as a shiny. You can receive it in the event from 12 km eggs, hopefully also in the shimmering variant.

Strong Crypto Pokémon: There will be changes in the Pokémon with the Rocket bosses and thugs. Particularly exciting is Crypto-Kaumalat, which you can catch at the event.
Its evolution Knakrack is already one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO, but Crypto-Knakrack is even more dangerous.

New Crypto Boss: The third highlight is the change in the Crypto Boss. Giovanni will in the future rely on the legendary monster Crypto-Regirock. You can now catch it for the first time and thus expand your collection.
It will appear in a special research task that you can pick up from the start of the event until September 1.
Forget frustration: The fourth point gives you the opportunity to get rid of the attack Frustration on your strong Crypto monsters. During the event, you can simply replace it with another attack via TM. This way, you can fully exploit your monsters’ potential.
