On September 3, a Limited Research featuring the rotating Pokémon Iscalar will take place in Pokémon GO. We’ll show you all the details about the event.
What kind of event is this? In recent years, Pokémon GO has repeatedly held short events called Limited Researches. The next event of this kind will take place on September 3, bringing you Iscalar. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a Shiny.
We’ll give you an overview of what you need to know about the event this weekend.
Iscalar Event in September – Start, Bonuses, and Shiny
When does it start? The event starts on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11:00 AM local time. It will last three hours and end at 2:00 PM local time.
What bonuses are there? For catching Pokémon, you will receive double the amount of candies. Keep in mind that this applies not only to the event Pokémon but also to raid bosses that you catch after battling.
There is also an increased chance of encountering shiny Iscalar. Trainers are used to an increased shiny chance from Community Days. However, it is unclear if the chances will be similarly high this time. Niantic only confirmed in the announcement that the chance will be increased during the event.
Iscalar Bonus: If you spin Photo Discs at PokéStops after the event starts, you will receive special quests that reward you with Iscalar encounters.
What does shiny Iscalar look like? Visually, shiny Iscalar can be easily distinguished from the normal form. The shiny is more yellowish while the normal form is mostly blue.
Wild Spawns: In the wild, you will encounter specially selected Pokémon more frequently during the event. These are:
- Alolan Rattata*
- Krookodile*
- Herdier*
- Furfrou*
- Blanas
- Sableye*
- Feebas
- With luck, Galarian Zigzagoon
How do you like the outlook for the event? Do you think it’s cool to have a longer event again, where a Pokémon is mainly in focus? And are you most looking forward to Shiny Iscalar or have you set your eyes on other spawns from the wild? Let us know your opinion here on MeinMMO.
