In Pokémon GO, the Community Day Classic featuring the Water Pokémon Mudkip will take place in April. We provide you with all the information about the move, tickets, and bonuses of the event.
What kind of event is this? The Community Day Classic is an event in Pokémon GO that brings back monsters from past Community Days. The first C-Day Classic was launched by Niantic featuring the Grass Pokémon Bulbasaur. The event apparently received such positive feedback that they decided to continue the series.
In April, Mudkip will be the focus. It is a Water Pokémon from the third generation that can evolve into Marshtomp and Swampert. We will show you the event details.
C-Day Classic with Mudkip in April 2022
When does it take place? The event starts on Sunday, April 10, 2022. It runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. You can take advantage of the event and its bonuses during these three hours.
What bonuses are available? You will find Mudkip more frequently in the wild during the event. Additionally, there are:
- Triple catch XP
- Lures that last for three hours during the event
- Incense that lasts for three hours during the event
- Surprises when you take snapshots during the event
There will also be a special research task available for purchase for €1. It will present you with certain tasks that can be easily completed during the event.
In the shop, there is a Community Day box available for 850 PokéCoins that includes 15 Ultra Balls, 15 Nanab Berries, 1 Elite Fast TM, and 1 Remote Raid Pass. Another box will be available for free in the shop, granting you 30 Ultra Balls.
Special move: If you evolve your Marshtomp (the evolution of Mudkip) into Swampert during the event or up to two hours afterward, Swampert will learn the move Hydro Cannon.
- In Trainer battles, Hydro Cannon deals 80 damage
- In Gym battles and Raid battles, Hydro Cannon deals 90 damage
