What kind of event is this? This event revolves around the item Smoke. For a full 6 hours, special Pokémon will be attracted to the smoke, so you don’t have to go outside to catch them.
The focus of the event is the Normal Pokémon Wiesor. However, the type will change every hour, and the smoke will attract completely different Pokémon.

These Pokémon are in the spotlight: Every hour, the Pokémon type in the spotlight changes. Here are the following monsters:
- 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Water Pokémon like Quapsel, Tentacha, Seemops, and Perlu will appear in the smoke
- 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM: This hour is about Fire Pokémon such as Fukano, Ponita, Hunduster, and Lichtel
- 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM: Here, Grass Pokémon like Myrapla, Roselia, Liliep, and Kastadur will appear in the smoke
- 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM: Psychic Pokémon like Flegmon, Puppance, Bronzel, and Mollimorba will appear in the smoke
- 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Bug Pokémon like Raupy, Ledyba, Pionskora, and Wattzapf are in focus
- 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Finally, Ground Pokémon like Felino, Schmerbe, Hippopotas, and Rotomurf will appear more frequently
What about Wiesor? Wiesor will also appear in the smoke for the entire 6 hours. Therefore, it is not affected by type restrictions.
What are the chances of getting a Shiny? If you play through the entire 6 hours, you have a good chance of getting a Shiny. After all, most of the Pokémon listed are available as Shinies.
Each smoke attracts a total of 60 Pokémon. If you catch for the full 6 hours, you’ll end up with 360 monsters. With a chance of 1 in 450 for a Shiny, the probability is not too low.
How do you get the smoke? The item will be available during the event in a bundle. This costs only one PokéCoin and brings 3 smoke. You’ll need to buy 3 additional smoke if you don’t own the item otherwise.
This event is perfect for: Due to the Corona crisis, all people are called to stay home. So, you can relax on the couch on Sunday and benefit from the event for 6 hours without having to go outside and still play effectively.
