What kind of event is this? Niantic is celebrating spring in the Northern Hemisphere with a wide variety of bonuses in the Spring Event 2020. Even before the event starts on April 9, a bonus is already active.
For the time being, eggs will hatch twice as fast. Niantic recommends activating Adventure Sync. This way, you can easily hatch eggs at home.
What changes with the Spring Event 2020? All information
When does it start? The Spring Event starts on Thursday, April 9, at 08:00 local time and will be active for a week, until April 16 at 22:00 local time.
What bonuses are there? Spring-themed Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild. Additionally, Pokémon with flower decorations will return. Haspiror with flower crown and Pikachu with flower hat will appear in the wild. With luck, you might even find them as Shiny.
Additionally, you will only receive 2-KM eggs from gifts from friends during the event time.
The amount of hatching candies will be doubled and lucky eggs will last for one hour.

- Voltilamm
- Marill
- Flemmli

- Pichu and Togepi with flower crown
- Wonneira
- Mampfaxo

- Klingplim
- Riolu
For the researchers among you, there is also good news. There will be exclusive field researches that will reward you with Alola-Kokowei, Azumarill, or with a lot of luck even with Ohrdoch.
Additionally, there will be a backpack and a hoodie with Togepi design in the Style Shop.
The fact that eggs now hatch twice as fast is a bonus that has been active since now, April 3, and will remain active during the event. It is assumed that the bonus will also remain after the event. This makes it easier for trainers to play Pokémon GO from home.
