Today, on July 21, the Spotlight Hour with Myrapla is taking place in Pokémon GO. There is a Stardust bonus associated with it. We will tell you if it’s worth it.
What is a Spotlight Hour? This event takes place every Tuesday in Pokémon GO and highlights a special Pokémon. Additionally, there is a bonus that complements the event.
This time, everything revolves around Myrapla. The Pokémon is already appearing more frequently in the current summer event and now gets this special hour.
Spotlight Hour in July with Myrapla
When is the event? It begins today at 6:00 PM local time. You can benefit from the bonuses for one hour, until 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are there? Of course, Myrapla is the focus and the Pokémon will be found everywhere.
There is also double Stardust for catching Pokémon. You will earn at least 200 Stardust for each Pokémon caught.
Is there Shiny Myrapla? Yes, you can already catch the Pokémon in its Shiny form. You can recognize it well, as the Shiny form is green instead of blue.
Many trainers might still be missing a Myrapla, as you need 4 Shinys to complete the family.
Is the hour worth it? This event among all Spotlight Hours in July seems to be the best. You get a chance to catch a Shiny and receive double Stardust.
So, take advantage of the hour to benefit from the strong bonuses. Next Tuesday, it will be about Bamelin, which is likely to be much less interesting for most trainers, as it cannot be Shiny.
What else is happening in Pokémon GO? This weekend, the big GO Fest 2020 is taking place. The paid event brings you numerous bonuses. If you haven’t bought a ticket yet, you should check out our analysis:
