In Pokémon GO the Spotlight Hour with Camaub starts tonight, June 16th. There is also an important Stardust bonus.
What is a Spotlight Hour? This event takes place every Tuesday evening and always highlights one Pokémon. This Pokémon then appears everywhere and a bonus rounds out the event.
This time it’s all about Camaub. The Ground-type Pokémon will appear more frequently for one hour.
Spotlight Hour in June with Camaub
When does it start? The event starts tonight at 6:00 PM local time. You can benefit from the bonuses for one hour. The event ends at 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are there? Camaub will appear around every corner and you can eagerly hunt for it. Additionally, there is double Stardust for catching Pokémon.
This will probably be one of the best bonuses in the Spotlight Hour, as Stardust is the most important resource in the game and you can never have enough of it.
Is there Shiny Camaub? Camaub is actually not available as a Shiny. Some trainers had hoped that it would be introduced with the Spotlight Hour, but this hope has not been fulfilled.
So it won’t be really worthwhile for the hour if you are only after Shinys. However, the hour is definitely worth it for some Stardust.
What’s next for the event? The next Spotlight Hours are already scheduled. In June, there will also be hours with Piepi and Zirpurze. Piepi can even be encountered as a Shiny.
