In Pokémon GO the spotlight hour with Mollimorba and an XP bonus begins today, October 19th. You can collect 1.2 million XP in the hour if you throw well. We will show you all the info and tips.
What kind of event is this? Every Tuesday evening, an event of this kind starts in Pokémon GO. During a spotlight hour, a specific Pokémon is in focus for 60 minutes. You will find it at almost every corner and your lure will attract this Pokémon.
Today’s event features the Psychic Pokémon Mollimorba from the 5th generation.
Spotlight Hour with Mollimorba – Bonuses and Times
When does the event start? As you know from other events of this kind, the spotlight hour starts again today at 6:00 PM. After one hour, at 7:00 PM, the event will then end.
What bonuses are there? Almost everywhere in the wild, you will encounter the Psychic Pokémon Mollimorba. This is a good opportunity for you if you want to evolve Galar-Lahmus into Galar-Laschoking.
The event is accompanied by a catch XP bonus. During the event, you will receive double the amount of experience points for catching Pokémon. Is there a Shiny Mollimorba? No. The Shiny version of Mollimorba is currently not available in Pokémon GO to find or catch.
Is the spotlight hour with Mollimorba worth it?
How strong is the Pokémon? Mollimorba can evolve into Hypnomorba and Morbitesse. All three Pokémon are not noteworthy in battles and are not “must-haves” in your Pokémon collection. There are many stronger Psychic Pokémon that you can find in our overview of the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
Why is the spotlight hour worth it? The spotlight hour is definitely worth it for you today if you want to earn a lot of XP. The catch circle of Mollimorba is large and you can easily land excellent throws while catching.
In combination with a Lucky Egg, you will then receive 4,000 experience points per catch. In an area with many spawns, 5 catches per minute are possible. This results in 300 catches that will bring you a total of 1.2 million experience points.
Additionally, the spotlight hour is useful if you want to evolve Galar-Flegmon into Galar-Laschoking. For this, you need 30 Psychic catches.
