Today, you will encounter the Water and Flying-type Pokémon Mantax during the spotlight hour. Additionally, you can benefit from a candy bonus.
Spotlight Hour with Mantax – Start, Bonuses and Shiny
When does it start? The spotlight hour starts today, June 14, 2022, as usual at 6:00 PM local time. You have 60 minutes to take advantage of the event, until it ends at 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are available? Of course, you can encounter Mantax in the wild during the entire spotlight hour. If the spawns are not enough for you, you can also set a incense. The event is complemented by a candy bonus. You will receive double the amount of candies for sending your Pokémon during this time.
Are there Shiny Mantax? Yes, with a bit of luck, you may also encounter a Shiny Mantax. You can recognize it by its blue body.
Is the spotlight hour with Mantax worth it?
How strong is it: Mantax is a Pokémon from the 2nd generation of games. It evolves from Mantirps. However, the Pokémon is not particularly strong. It can only score points in defense.
For raids, you should rather rely on the best attackers in Pokémon GO, and Mantax doesn’t play a significant role in the GO Battle League either.
