Today, on November 7th, the Spotlight Hour with Irrbis starts in Pokémon GO. You will receive a bonus that brings you more candies. We will show you everything about the times, bonuses, and Shinys here in the guide.
What kind of event is this? Every Tuesday evening, a so-called Spotlight Hour takes place in Pokémon GO. For 60 minutes, a Pokémon is in focus, which Niantic sets at the beginning of each month. This is accompanied by a fixed bonus. Every Tuesday, the combination of Pokémon and Stardust, candy, or XP bonus changes.
Today, you will encounter the Pokémon Lampi and can earn additional candies.
Spotlight Hour on November 7th – Start, Shiny, and Bonuses
When does it start? As you may know from past Spotlight Hours, the event also starts today at 6:00 PM. It will be active for one hour and ends again at 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are active? During the event, you will encounter Lampi almost everywhere in the wild. If you want, you can activate a smoke to open up additional encounters.
You will also receive double the amount of candy for sending Pokémon.

Can you catch Shiny Lampi? Yes, the shiny version of Lampi is active in Pokémon GO and can be caught by you. But keep in mind that the chances of Shinys are not increased during Spotlight Hours. So, you need a lot of luck.
Is the Spotlight Hour today worth it? You can ignore Lampi as an attacker for your teams. Its evolution, Lanturn, is at least in the Super League among the upper midfield in PvP and nearly reaches the category of the best attackers. However, the Pokémon is not particularly valuable for raids.
The hour may be worthwhile for you if you want to tidy up your collection and want to get more candies for that.
