What is a Spotlight Hour? In Pokémon GO, a Spotlight Hour takes place every Tuesday evening. For one hour, the event Pokémon is in focus and appears frequently on the map. The event is accompanied by a bonus.
Today, Haspiror is in focus. The Pokémon belongs to the Normal type and originates from Generation 4. Here on MeinMMO, we’ll show you everything you need to know about the event.
This is what the Spotlight Hour with Haspiror brings
When does it start? As you already know from events of this kind, the start signal is at 6:00 PM local time. The event will be active for one hour and should end around 7:00 PM. Afterwards, the spawns that will come your way during the Easter event will be active again.
What bonus is active? The Spotlight Hour brings you many spawns of the named Pokémon.
Additionally, there is a candy bonus. For sending Pokémon, you will receive double the amount of candies as usual.
Is there a shiny Haspiror? Yes, since April 2019, there has been shiny Haspiror in Pokémon GO. This also makes it possible to catch the shiny form during the event. For shiny hunters, this is definitely an incentive to participate in this event.
In Pokémon GO, Haspiror is irrelevant. It does not play a significant role in raids or PvP. Its evolution Schlapor is more relevant in raids and the Super League, but still far behind the truly important Pokémon.
Is the event worth it? The Spotlight Hour today can be worth it for you if you come with the right expectations. You’re not getting a strong Pokémon here, but should focus on the shinies. The candy bonus can be interesting if you’ve saved up rare Pokémon to send.
