What kind of event is this? Every Tuesday, a Spotlight Hour takes place in Pokémon GO. This is a one-hour evening event where a selected Pokémon is in focus. At the beginning of each month, Niantic announces the participants for the upcoming Spotlight Hours.
This is accompanied by a bonus that is also active for one hour. Today you will encounter Felino and receive additional stardust. We show you the details here.
Spotlight Hour on December 6th – Start, Bonuses, Shiny
When does it start? As you are used to, the event starts at 6:00 PM German time and lasts for one hour. It ends at 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are there? During the event, you will encounter Felino almost everywhere in the wild. The Pokémon is from the second generation and is of the types water and ground.
For even more encounters with Felino, you can ignite your incense.
Additionally, you will receive double the amount of stardust for catching Pokémon. This applies to all your catches, even if you are raiding at that time.

Is there Shiny Felino? Yes, you can catch shiny Felino in Pokémon GO. In the following graphic, we show you the comparison between the normal and shiny variant:
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it today? Felino itself is rather uninteresting in PvP and PvE. Its evolution Morlord can at least reach the lower middle tier in the Super League, but is otherwise also unremarkable.
We recommend taking part in the event mainly for the stardust bonus. This way you can fill your resources well.
