What is a Spotlight Hour? This event takes place every Tuesday in Pokémon GO. For one hour, a special Pokémon takes center stage and appears more frequently. A suitable bonus rounds it all off.
Today it’s all about Zobiris. The Pokémon from Generation 3 is the second of four Pokémon that are in the spotlight in August.
Spotlight Hour on August 11th with Zobiris
When does the event take place? It starts today at 6:00 PM local time. Zobiris will then appear everywhere until 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are there? Of course, the spawns are increased and Zobiris will be the most common Pokémon in the wild.
Additionally, there are double candies for sending Pokémon. You will receive 2 candies per Pokémon when you send it.
Are there Shiny Zobiris? Yes, you can encounter Shiny Zobiris since its release during the Halloween event 2017. So you may also find it as Shiny during the Spotlight Hour with some luck.
Is the event hour worth it? If you don’t have Zobiris as Shiny yet, you should take advantage of the event. Zobiris is likely to appear as frequently only again during the Halloween event in October.
Otherwise, the double candies for sending are interesting. If you participated in the GO Fest in July, you might still have some rare monsters. Sort through them diligently within the hour and secure the increased candies. Good Pokémon for sending are, for example, Lichtel, Kaumalat, or Flampion.
