In Pokémon GO the next Spotlight Hour is coming up. Here you can expect Wattzapf and an experience points bonus.
What kind of event is this? The Spotlight Hour is an event that takes place every Tuesday. You can expect at least one Pokémon that is the focus of the event and has a significantly increased spawn chance during the event.
Additionally, there is also a bonus that is active during the event time.
The next Spotlight Hour will take place on November 26, 2024. There you will find Wattzapf, a Pokémon from the 5th generation with the types Bug and Electric. It also has an evolution, Voltula.
Spotlight Hour on November 26 – Start and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? As always, the Spotlight Hour begins at 6:00 PM. The event lasts for 60 minutes and will end at 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are active? If you catch Pokémon during the Spotlight Hour, you will receive double the amount of experience points. It doesn’t matter which Pokémon you catch – the bonus applies to all monsters you catch.
If you use a Lucky Egg, you can double the amount of experience points again.
Can you catch Shiny-Wattzapf? Yes. If you are lucky, you may also find and catch the Shiny form of Wattzapf.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? If you are looking for reinforcements for your raid teams, you won’t find them in this event. Neither Wattzapf nor its evolution are among the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.
It’s no different in the battle league. Here too, the Pokémon cannot score points, and you should refrain from using them.
If you are currently actively collecting experience points, this event might be worth it for you to get a little extra boost. With double the experience points when catching and using a Lucky Egg, you can rack up some XP in these 60 minutes.
