What kind of event is this? Every week on Tuesdays, the so-called Spotlight Hour takes place. Here you will find a Pokémon that appears in very high numbers and additionally a bonus that is active for 60 minutes.
The next Spotlight Hour will feature Paldea-Felino. The Pokémon has the types Poison and Ground. Additionally, it has a evolution called Suelord.
Spotlight Hour on January 21 – Start and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? As always, the Spotlight Hour starts at 6:00 PM and ends 60 minutes later at 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are active? During the Spotlight Hour, there is a bonus on the candies you receive when catching Pokémon. You will receive double the amount for each individual catch.
If you also use Nanab Berries, you will even receive four times the amount of candies when catching Pokémon.
Can you catch Shiny Paldea-Felino? Yes, during the Spotlight Hour you may encounter a Shiny version of Paldea-Felino with a bit of luck. However, the chance is generally not increased.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? In raids, you should not rely on Paldea-Felino or its evolution Suelord. There are much stronger Pokémon for that.
However, in the Battle League, Suelord can shine. In the Super League, Suelord is one of the best Pokémon you can currently use. If you want to use it here, you should opt for Poison Sting as a fast move and Sludge Bomb and Earthquake as charged moves.
You can also use the catch bonus of the event to quickly gather the necessary candies if you want to use Suelord in the Battle League.
