The next spotlight hour features Meditie. The monster from the 3rd generation has the Fighting and Psychic types. With Meditalis, it also has an evolution.
Spotlight Hour on April 08 – Start Time and Bonuses
When does the spotlight hour start? As always, the spotlight hour begins at 6:00 PM. It ends an hour later at 7:00 PM.
Which bonus is active? If you send Pokémon to the Professor during the event, you will be rewarded with double the amount of candy. The bonus applies not only to Meditie but to all Pokémon.
Can you catch a shiny Meditie? Yes, with a bit of luck, you might encounter the shiny variant of Meditie.
Is the spotlight hour worth it? If you plan to use Meditalis in raids, you might want to stay away from this. The Pokémon is not suited for this and is not among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
In the battle leagues, Meditalis can at least place in the mid-range in the Super League. Its deployment is conceivable, although there are also better Pokémon here that you should rely on.
If you have many monsters that have piled up in your boxes and need to clear space, the event offers the optimal opportunity for that. With the double amount of candy you receive for sending them, you can gain some additional candies here.
