In Pokémon GO, the next Spotlight Hour is approaching. This time, you’ll see Bubungus and a Stardust bonus.
What kind of event is this? Every Tuesday, the so-called Spotlight Hour takes place in Pokémon GO. During this, there is a Pokémon that is in focus and appears in much larger numbers.
Additionally, there is a bonus during each Spotlight Hour that is also active for the duration of the event.
This time, the Pokémon Bubungus is in the spotlight. This Pokémon has the types Grass and Fairy and originates from the 7th generation. It has an evolution, Lamellux.
Spotlight Hour on June 25 – Start and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? As every week, the Spotlight Hour begins at 6:00 PM. Exactly 60 minutes later, at 7:00 PM, it ends.
What bonuses are active? This time, you can look forward to a Stardust bonus during the event. If you catch Pokémon, you will receive double the amount of Stardust. Regardless of whether it is Bubungus or another Pokémon.
Can you catch Shiny Bubungus? Yes, Bubungus is already available in its Shiny form in Pokémon GO. With a bit of luck, you might encounter the Shiny variant during the Spotlight Hour.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? Both Bubungus and its evolution are not strong Pokémon. You should not use them in battle leagues or for raids. For the latter, it is more worthwhile to use the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
If you want to secure the Shiny specimens of the Pokémon, you need to be lucky. The number of Pokémon spawns for Bubungus is significantly increased during the event, but the chance of encountering a Shiny remains unchanged.
The bonus of the event could be interesting for you if you want to improve your Stardust supplies. With double the Stardust per catch and the large number of spawns, you can accumulate a nice amount of Stardust during the Spotlight Hour.
