The next Spotlight Hour is coming up in Pokémon GO. As usual, you can expect a Pokémon and a bonus here.
What kind of event is this? The Spotlight Hour is a small recurring event. It takes place every Tuesday and lasts exactly 60 minutes. During this time, at least one Pokémon is in focus and appears in very high numbers in the game.
Additionally, there is a bonus that is also active during the 60 minutes.
On March 11, 2025, Roselia will be waiting for you. The Grass-Poison Pokémon comes from the 3rd generation. It has a pre-evolution in Budew and can also evolve into Roserade.
Spotlight Hour on March 11 – Start and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? The Spotlight Hour starts, as you are used to, at 6:00 PM. It ends again at 7:00 PM.
What bonus is active? During the event, there is a bonus for evolving Pokémon. For each Pokémon you evolve, you receive double the amount of experience points. The bonus applies to all evolutions you perform.
Can you catch Shiny Roselia? Yes, with a bit of luck, you might also encounter the Shiny variant of Roselia.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? Roserade, the evolution of Roselia, can be played as both a Grass and a Poison attacker. In both variants, you will find the monster on the list of best attackers in Pokémon GO.
In the Battle League, however, you should not rely on Roserade. Unfortunately, it is not a serious contender there.
If you currently have some Pokémon that you want to evolve, you can use the event to gain some extra experience points. If you use Lucky Eggs, you will receive a total of four times the experience points.
