What kind of event is this? Every Tuesday, the so-called Spotlight Hour takes place in Pokémon GO. This is a 60-minute event during which at least one monster is in the spotlight and appears in very large numbers. A bonus is also active during this time.
In the next Spotlight Hour, Monozyto is waiting for you. The Psychic monster comes from Generation 5 and can initially evolve into Mitodos and then into Zytomega.
Spotlight Hour on June 17 – Start and Bonuses
When does the Spotlight Hour start? As usual, the Spotlight Hour starts at 6:00 PM. After 60 minutes, at 7:00 PM, it will be over again.
What bonus is active? If you send Pokémon to the Professor within the 60 minutes of the event, you will receive double the amount of candies. This bonus applies to all monsters you send to the Professor.
Can you catch Shiny Monozyto? Yes. If you are lucky, you can also obtain the Shiny variant of Monozyto.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it? Monozyto and its evolutions are not strong attackers and cannot be found in the list of the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
It’s no different in the battle leagues. In none of the 3 leagues do Monozyto and its evolutions belong to the best monsters. You should definitely rely on other Pokémon here.
The bonus of the event is strong and should not be underestimated. If many monsters have accumulated in your Pokémon box, this event is perfect for cleaning up and getting some additional candies in the process.
If you have already tagged the corresponding monsters in advance, you can send them during the event in no time and still have plenty of time to catch one or two Monozyto.
