The new special research on Mele-Mele Island is running during the Alola season of Pokémon GO. We show you an overview of all tasks and rewards so that you can easily complete the quests.
What kind of research is this? Niantic has already confirmed four special researches that you can complete during the Alola season. If you complete them all, you will unlock the fifth research as a bonus special research. The researches are:
- Special research on Mele-Mele Island (available from March 1 to June 1)
- Special research on Akala Island (available from March 22 to June 1)
- Special research on Ula-Ula Island (available from April 12 to June 1)
- Special research on Poni Island (available from May 10 to June 1)
- Special research for the end of the season (available from May 25 to June 1)

A Mele-Mele Adventure 1/4

Stage Reward: If you successfully complete all three tasks and collect their rewards, you will receive an additional 10 Nanab berries, 500 XP, and 500 stardust.
A Mele-Mele Adventure 2/4

| Use 7 berries when catching Pokémon | 10 Ultra Balls |

Stage Reward: If you successfully complete all three tasks and collect their rewards, you will receive an additional 1 Charged TM, 500 XP, and 500 stardust.
A Mele-Mele Adventure 3/4

Stage Reward: If you successfully complete all three tasks and collect their rewards, you will receive an additional 1 Premium Raid Pass, 1,000 XP, and 1,000 stardust.
A Mele-Mele Adventure 4/4

Stage Reward: If you successfully complete all three tasks and collect their rewards, you will receive an additional 15 Hyper Balls, 8,000 XP, and 3,000 stardust.
If you complete this research successfully, you can pick up the next special research starting from March 22. By the way, you can also unlock the end of the season research by purchasing a ticket for about €5. You don’t necessarily have to complete all previous researches to play the “end of season” research.
