What research is it about? Every month, there is a Community Day in Pokémon GO, where a previously determined Pokémon is in the spotlight, accompanied by various bonuses. You also have the opportunity to purchase a paid event ticket, which brings you special research related to the Community Day Pokémon.

Possible contents of the special research at a glance
All tasks & rewards: The special research for the Community Day consists of a total of 4 panels with 3 tasks each, except for the last page. This one is always already solved, so you only need to collect the rewards there.
In recent months, the tasks and rewards have largely remained the same. Only for Pokémon with just one evolutionary stage have there been corresponding adjustments to the quests. For this reason, it can be assumed that you can expect the following tasks and rewards in the future as well:

Are there Community Days where these contents are changed? Yes. The special research for the big Community Day in December includes different tasks and rewards. And even for the Community Day Classic, there can occasionally be different contents. Depending on the monster, you can also receive evolution items or Mega Energy there.
Is the Community Day ticket worth it?
What you need to know: As you can see in our general overview of the tasks and rewards of the Community Day ticket, you receive a whole range of different items. If you were to buy these in the in-game shop, they would be significantly more expensive than the ticket price. In addition to 45 different balls, 12 berries, and 3 special candies, the following items are guaranteed:
- a smoke that costs 40 coins in the in-game shop, which is about 0.40 euros
- a Rocket Radar, which has a value of 200 coins, approximately 2.00 euros
- as well as one of the following items:
- Lucky Egg valued at 80 coins (0.80 euros)
- Star Piece valued at 100 coins (1.00 euros)
- Lure Module valued at 100 coins (1.00 euros)
- Incubator valued at 150 coins (1.50 euros)
Additionally, the ticket also grants you a total of 7,500 Stardust, 10,000 XP, 100 candies of the respective C-Day Pokémon, and 8 encounters with the Community Day Pokémon and its evolutions. The encounters can be especially worthwhile, as monsters from research are usually a bit stronger than most specimens in the wild.
Who should buy the ticket? The ticket is particularly worthwhile for trainers who were anyway planning to buy the items or are hoping for a strong specimen from the research. However, those who do not need the items can also play the Community Day without a ticket.
Where can you buy the ticket? You can find the ticket a few days before each Community Day in the in-game shop for about 1 euro. Alternatively, you can also purchase it along with other items as part of the Community Day Hyperbox in the Pokémon GO webshop for 5.99 euros.
Special research for Community Day in July with Zapplardin
Which Community Day is it about? On Sunday, July 21, 2024, there will be a Community Day with Zapplardin from 14:00 to 17:00 in Pokémon GO. This will also provide a paid event ticket with special research.
