Today in Pokémon GO the Community Day Classic is happening with Larvitar and a special research for €1. We will show you all the tasks, rewards, and whether the ticket is worth it for you.
What kind of research is this? Community Days are regularly held in Pokémon GO. At least once a month, such an event takes place. Now in January, it is even the second time, as the “Classic” variant is active. This means a Pokémon that has previously had a Community Day returns again for an event of this kind.
If you want, you can buy a ticket for about €1 (varies by shop by a few cents) that unlocks a special research. In this overview, we will show you all tasks and rewards of the ticket.
Community Day Classic with Larvitar 1/4

Stage Reward: If you have completed all three tasks and collected the respective rewards, you will additionally receive 3,000 Stardust, 3 Rare Candies, and an encounter with Tyranitar.
Is the ticket for the C-Day Classic with Larvitar worth it?
You should keep this in mind: In recent months, the contents of these €1 tickets have always been quite similar. When you compare the shop value of the rewards received against the ticket price, it quickly becomes clear that you can save here:
- An Incense costs 40 coins in the shop, which is about 40 cents
- A Rocket Radar costs 200 coins, so about €2
- A Lucky Egg is valued at about 80 cents with a price of 80 coins
Additionally, you will receive multiple encounters with Larvitar and its evolutions through the research. Many candies are also available for that.
If you were planning to buy the items that are rewards in the ticket anyway, you can save well by purchasing the ticket. The tasks are easy to complete today during the Community Day.
However, you will not incur any disadvantages if you play without a ticket. Check if the rewards are worth the price of €1 for you.
