In Pokémon GO there is now the Sinnoh Stone. This allows players to obtain some new evolutions from the 4th generation.
A few days ago, data miner Chrales found the Sinnoh Stone in the code of Pokémon GO. It has now been implemented in the game and offers trainers several new Pokémon from the 4th generation.
We show you what the Sinnoh Stone is good for and which new Pokémon are now in the game.
Sinnoh Stone – All we know
What can the Sinnoh Stone do? The Sinnoh Stone is an evolution item and can evolve Pokémon that get an evolution in the 4th generation. So far, it can only evolve some Pokémon, not all that receive an evolution.
How to obtain the Sinnoh Stone? You receive the Sinnoh Stone as a research breakthrough. To achieve this, you must complete field research for seven days. In addition to the Sinnoh Stone, you also receive the bug and ghost Pokémon Ninjatom as a reward.
Is there another way to get the Sinnoh Stone? So far, no other method is known to obtain the Sinnoh Stone in Pokémon GO. It seems that you can only receive one Sinnoh Stone per week.
How do I use the Sinnoh Stone? The Sinnoh Stone is used for the evolution of some Pokémon. For example, to evolve Kramurx, you need 100 candies and a Sinnoh Stone. This will be automatically redeemed during the evolution. Each Sinnoh Stone can only be used for one evolution.
Rizeros and other Pokémon now have an evolution
A total of eleven Pokémon can be evolved using the Sinnoh Stone. For each evolution, you need 100 candies.
- Rizeros to Rihornior
- Magmar to Magbrant
- Elektek to Elevoltek
- Kramurx to Kramshef
- Togetic to Togekiss
- Skorgla to Skorgro
- Traunfugil to Traunmagil
- Sniebel to Snibunna
- Porygon 2 to Porygon Z
- Roselia to Roserade
- Zwirrklop to Zwirrfinst
New Shinys: With the evolutions, new Shinys are now also coming to Pokémon GO. There are now the following Pokémon in their shiny form:
- Kramshef
- Togekiss
- Zwirrfinst
- Roserade
- Elevoltek
- Magbrant

Event related to the evolutions: Since last night, players can also obtain some pre-evolutions of these Pokémon in 2 km eggs. This event runs until November 27.
Evolution costs fewer candies: Since their evolutions are now in the game, some evolutions have become cheaper. Some evolutions now only cost 25 candies instead of 50. This includes, for example, the evolutions of Rihorn or Porygon.
What about the other evolutions? With the Sinnoh Stone, not all Pokémon that get an evolution can be evolved yet. This includes, for example, the evolutions of Evoli or Keifel. These are partially still not found in the code. When these evolutions will come is not known.
What do you think of the new evolutions?
