In Pokémon GO the Alola Season will start in a few hours, which is supposed to focus on the Pokémon of the 7th generation. Now there are the first insights into which monsters will await you. We at MeinMMO will show them to you.
What is the Alola Season about? In Pokémon GO there are different Seasons referred to as seasons. These always last for a period of 3 months and reflect a specific theme.
This is especially evident in the spawns and events that take place during this time. Starting tomorrow, on March 1, 2022, the previous Season of Origins will be replaced by the new season “Alola Season” (via pokemongolive.com).
Which events and spawns you can expect during this time is not officially known yet, however, Niantic has now given a first insight into the new Pokémon. We will show you which monsters have been announced.
These are the new Pokémon of the Alola region
After Niantic officially confirmed the new season around the Alola region on Sunday afternoon and made Alola-Kokowei spawn in the wild for this occasion, the first hints about the upcoming new Pokémon followed via Twitter.
In total, four different images of this kind were shared, each showing a Pokémon represented as a shadow. Of course, dedicated Pokémon fans can immediately recognize which monsters are hidden behind them.
Peppeck
One of the images we have also embedded for you shows the Normal and Flying-type Pokémon Peppeck. You can recognize it by its black and white plumage, the red stripe on its head, and its long beak. The small bird evolves into Tukanon via Trompeck.

Wuffels
Another image preview on the Twitter account of Pokémon GO shows Wuffels. Wuffels is a Rock-type Pokémon that strongly resembles a dog. It evolves into Wolwerock. Its evolution has two additional forms, “Day Form” and “Night Form” besides its normal form.
However, how multiple forms of Wolwerock will be implemented in the game is not known yet.

Miniras
With the introduction of Generation 7, a new Dragon-type Pokémon is expected to debut in the game. Miniras evolves into Gradiras via Mediras. You can recognize the small dragon by its large yellow shield on its head and its gray-black body.

Kapu-Riki
With Kapu-Riki, the first legendary monster of the Alola region is revealed. It is of the Electric and Fairy type and has no pre-evolution or further evolution. Kapu-Riki has two bowls decorated with war paint on both arms, which it can open and close. It also has an orange-yellow, elongated body.

More Pokémon of the Alola Region
In addition to the four contributions that Pokémon GO has published on their Twitter account regarding the new generation, there is also a first video about the Alola Season on YouTube, which shows more Pokémon.
The video initially shows a postcard with the inscription “From Alola… To you!”. Then follows an insight into the Alola region, showcasing various monsters. Thus, the following Pokémon might be present in the new season besides those mentioned above:
- Bauz, Aboreotoss, and Silvarro
- Robball, Marikeck, and Primarene
- Flamiau, Miezunder, and Fuegro
- Mangunior and Manguspektor
How do you find the insights into the upcoming monsters of the Alola region? Which is your favorite? And which Pokémon from the 7th generation would you like to see in the new season? Feel free to share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments and exchange ideas with other trainers.
Last weekend, the big Pokémon GO Tour took place. I had real shiny luck at the Johto Tour, but one thing I found really annoying. I will reveal to you what that was.
