Trainers in Pokémon GO can look forward to an exclusive concert by global star Ed Sheeran starting today. We at MeinMMO have looked into what this concert is all about and will show you how you can watch it.
What kind of concert is it? Today, on November 22, 2021, at 8:00 PM local time, a new event starts in Pokémon GO. The background is a new collaboration with British singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran. To celebrate this, the global star will hold an exclusive concert for the trainers.
How you can watch the concert with Ed Sheeran
When does the concert with Ed Sheeran take place? Just in time for the start of the Ed Sheeran event, the global star will provide a musical kickoff with a small concert. You can watch his performance starting today, November 22, 2021, at 8:00 PM.
The concert will then be available to you anytime and can be watched throughout the entire event until November 30, 2021, at 10:00 PM.
Where can the concert be found?
As Niantic announced on the Pokémon GO page, you can access the exclusive concert with Ed Sheeran through the news in the game (via pokemongolive.com). To do this, you need to go to the menu in the game. This opens by clicking on the Pokéball in your map view.
On the menu page, you will find the “News” category at the top right. If you click on this item, you will enter your notifications and news. With the help of tabs at the top of the screen, you can switch between both categories.
Also click on “News” here. You will now receive a list of all upcoming events, with the concert featuring Ed Sheeran also listed. You just need to select it. At this point, there will be a link through which you can access the concert.

What can you expect at the concert? Ed Sheeran will perform some songs from his new album Equals, but also popular songs from his previous albums. You can look forward to the following songs among others:

- First Times
What else can you expect from the Ed Sheeran event?
As with every event, you can expect many Pokémon and bonuses. Especially Squirtle with sunglasses will be in the spotlight, as it is the favorite Pokémon of the British singer.
You will encounter the water Pokémon in field research tasks and alongside Croagunk, Piplup, Oshawott, and Froxy in the wild. The daily snapshot can also be worth it for you during the event.
Additionally, the song “Overpass Graffiti” by Ed Sheeran will be available at night in the game until November 30, 2021. A free event box, new stickers, and a new promo code with an avatar item will round off the event.
