The Community Day with Squirtle will be repeated in Pokémon GO through a compensation event. Trainers are pleased with the execution and are surprised by the generosity.
Why is there a compensation event? On July 9, the Community Day with Squirtle took place. Many players were looking forward to the event, as there were Shinies, special moves, and Squirtle with sunglasses. However, login issues with the Pokémon Trainer Club caused players to be unable to take part in the event.
Niantic has now shown how the compensation event will look. We present you the details and the reactions from the community.
2. Community Day with Squirtle in July – Start, Bonuses
When does the 2nd Community Day with Squirtle take place? On Sunday, July 23, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Who can participate? All trainers can join in. The compensation event takes place worldwide.
– Many Squirtles will appear in the wild
– If you evolve Wartortle to Blastoise, it will learn the charged move Hydro Cannon (effective from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM)
– Field research on Squirtle will yield encounters with sunglasses Squirtle
– A special research for €1 for the C-Day Classic with Squirtle is live
– Eggs placed in incubators during the event will hatch four times as fast
– If you activate lure modules during the event, they will last for 3 hours
– If you activate incense during the event, the item will last for 3 hours (daily incense does not count)
– Snapshots will provide you with more Squirtle encounters

What do the players say? On Reddit, the compensation event is being actively discussed. During the original Community Day, there was bad mood due to the login issues. Now the tide is turning for the better:
